For your safety, never send an Instagram password, two-factor code, session cookie, or full Instagram export.
Export help
- Open Meta Accounts Center.
- Choose Your information and permissions.
- Choose Export your information, then Create export.
- Select your Instagram profile and Export to device.
- Select Followers and following, All time, and JSON.
- Start the export. Meta says preparation may take up to 30 days and will send an email and Instagram notification when it is ready.
- Download the ready ZIP within 4 days and save it to Files. Do not unzip it.
- Return to Unfollow Tool and choose the ZIP.
Unfollow Tool can schedule one optional local reminder after you start this process. The reminder asks you to check Accounts Center. It cannot know whether Meta has finished the export. If iPhone notifications are off, the app still saves a return card so you can continue later.

The app does not log in
For Instagram relationship data, Unfollow Tool reads only the official export you choose. It never needs your password, scrapes Instagram, or follows or unfollows accounts.
Restore Premium
Open Review options, then Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that bought the subscription. If an active plan is still not found, verify the subscription under iPhone Settings, Apple Account, Subscriptions, then contact support with the app version and iOS version. Do not attach your Instagram export.
Cancel or manage Premium
Use iPhone Settings, Apple Account, Subscriptions, Unfollow Tool. Apple manages billing and cancellation.
Clear local data
Open Review options, then Clear all data. This removes the saved list, checklist choices, export return plan, and pending Unfollow Tool export reminder. It does not change Instagram and does not cancel an Apple subscription.
